The North vs South Championship was one of the premier dirt track events on the US East Coast for many years. First held at the legendary Edgewood Raceway in Edgewood, MD and then later moved to Dorsey Speedway in Dorsey, MD. The names, the brands, the on-track battles were things of Mid-Atlantic flat track legend. Take a trip back and look at the names of the riders that participated over the years at this classic race, it's a "Who's Who" of great riders. Be sure to take note of the advertising too, great memories there as well. 1966 North vs South Championship held at Edgewood Speedway just off US RT40 northeast of Baltimore. This was the 6th annual event.

This program is from the North vs South Race held in 1968. It was the last year the event was held at Edgewood Raceway. Many of the names that raced this event went on to have great professional racing careers.

This program is from the 1969 North vs South Championship which was the first to be held at Dorsey Speedway in Dorsey, MD. While the track is now an office park the memories will go on forever.
